Welcome to the YOU Session preparation course

This course is professionally designed to help Defence Force Recruiting applicants to prepare for their initial aptitude test and secure their preferred career in the Army, Navy, or Air Force.

The 'YOU Session' preparation course builds on the free military aptitude test and includes instructional videos and practice tests for the types of questions candidates will be expected to answer quickly and accurately during their initial aptitude test.

Military aptitude testing is compulsory for all persons applying to join the Australian Navy, Army, or Air Force and is heavily relied on to determine which roles the candidate is suited to.  In Australia, Defence Force Recruiting candidates are only permitted to sit aptitude testing once every twelve months for a maximum of three attempts. For this reason, it is important to be well prepared, understand the types of questions that will be asked, and have strategies to quickly and accurately answer as many questions as possible within the permitted timeframe.

On completion of this course, students will be thoroughly prepared for Defence Force Recruiting aptitude testing and be armed with the skills and confidence to secure their preferred career.
